I’ve been using Alexa devices for years. Like a lot of people, I started with one Echo in the kitchen, then another in the bedroom, and then somehow they ended up in most rooms. Lights, timers, weather, music, shopping lists. It became part of the routine. But if I’m being honest, Alexa always felt useful rather than smart. You had to talk to it in a very specific way.
