Remember when voice assistants were marketed as the future? We were promised a world where Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant could book appointments, manage shopping lists, and even run our homes, all without us lifting a finger. Fast forward to today, and while the tech has improved, the question remains: are these smart assistants genuinely useful, or still more of a party trick?

As someone deeply invested in tech, both professionally and personally, I’ve recently started looking at how to improve my smart home setup. I currently use the Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) and while it’s been a solid part of my home, it’s beginning to feel a little basic compared to what’s now possible.
